So, we've got more than a few "Kiss" fans in our family. The band. Some of us are bigger fans than others.
Anyway, the band is coming to Berlin.
The sign looked weird to me, but I couldn't quite figure it out.
This is the "regular" Kiss logo:
Recently Jason and I paid a visit to the Topography of Terror while all the kids were at school (free babysitters!). And that's when it occurred to me...Kiss "had" to change their logo for Germany. Because of the Schutzstaffel. The "SS". And their logo:
Here's me just now realizing such things, and Jason, a life long Kiss fan, telling me how this has been a hot topic for years and years. I found it all new and quite fascinating. Maybe I'm the only one late to the party, but maybe I'm not and you guys will find this interesting as well.
